about

"Nothing, means ANYTHING. It's the void into which art and music and magic flow. The blank page where stories are written..."

An album born from the lockdown generation. This is what happens when an 80's metal head and producer extraordinaire meets minds with a 90's metal head and singer-poet-MC... during a global pandemic.

Invokal tackles his mid-lockdown mid-life-crisis with both hands, (one on the pen and one on the mic). Honest, brave and heart-felt, the vocalisations within attempt to make aural beauty from the rotten fruits of an early 2020's society. Meanwhile, SystemATA takes his production to new levels, challenging himself... and surpassing all expectations.

Featuring Lucy Jones with her impeccable tones and Asbest The Moor King with his lyrical talking.

Track 9 'Softly' is a cover of an original recording by N-Trance. Written by Kevin O'Toole, taken from their 1995 album 'Electronic Pleasure'. It was also the B-side to their seminal dance classic 'Set You Free'. All rights are owned by them.

Track 10 features the voice of Frank Zappa and is presented as a time capsule set to music. His views do not necessarily represent those of The Violence Of Fame.
